Obtaining County Records
Information for requesting copies from the La Salle County Court House:
MARRIAGE RECORDS:
Certified copies of marriage records are $5.00.
PROBATE RECORDS:
Sizes of probate files vary. Normal ranges are 10 to 100 pages.
Copies of probate records are $1.00 per page.
Certified copies are an additional $5.00 fee to certify them.
BIRTH RECORDS:
Birth records become open on the 50th anniversary of their filing.
Certified copies are $11.00.
DEATH RECORDS:
Death records become open on the 25th anniversary of their filing.
Certified copies are $11.00.
PLEASE NOTE:
A birth record filed on or after 1959 would be a confidential birth record
and you would have to be a qualified applicant to request it.
A death record filed on or after 1974 would be a confidential death record
and you would have to be a qualified applicant to request it.
